First Lutheran Church in Waltham, MA is a beautiful brick church, originally designed in the 1920s for a Swedish congregation. Today’s congregation is growing and in need of an expanded central gathering space. Nederhoff Architecture is providing pro bono architectural services to envision an expansion that blends and complements the original church building while also expressing the current dynamic activities that take place within its brick walls. A transparent new facade with a stained glass cross above complement the adjacent classic church architecture.
